Boss! De book! De book! (thanks, Herve Villechaize. R.I.P.)

Finally! Losing Normal is available on Amazon, in paperback & e-book formats. You can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1732791023.

That’s the good news.

The bad news is that I cannot yet make a discounted price available to my subscribers. Amazon only makes one price available, $3.99 for the e-book, $12.95 for the paperback.

But…

If you wait until December 1, I will lower the price on Amazon to $.99 for the e-book & $7.95 for the paperback.

I have to do this because I’ve got book signings coming up and I don’t want folks who buy my book at the list price to discover it’s available for less online. Bad karma or something, I think.

Some glitches prevented me getting the book out in October, as I wanted.

Losing Normal was registered with Bowker for the ISBN number, and with the Library of Congress under the imprint ‘Encelia Press.’ But it appeared on Amazon as ‘Encilia Press.’ Encelia is a local flowering plant here in the high desert. Encilia is a street in Palm Springs.

So the book was withdrawn and, after some back-and-forth with Amazon & time passing, it was re-uploaded under the correct imprint.

Then, my editor discovered that, on my Acknowledgements page, the word ‘Acknowledgement’ was spelled ‘Acnowledgement’ (I didn’t do that, I swear). Withdraw the book, fix it & re-upload it. More time passing.

Someday, this will be funny.

Anyway, thanks for your understanding. I hope you enjoy Losing Normal. Please remember to write a review on Amazon. You don’t have to love my book, but I’d appreciate a few words. Reviews help make the book more visible.
